After all is said and done, now what? You have endless hours of gift wrapping and card writing and then you have to decorate, etc. Have you thought about preparations for next years shopping? Why should you, it’s a whole year away. Here’s why:It is said that hindsight is 20/20. Have you learned anything from this most recent shopping trip? Maybe your alarm batteries ran out during the night and you want to remember that for next year. Next time you want to set your alarm AND your cell phone alarm to insure you’re awake in time to hit the sales in time. Maybe you forgot something like your lip gloss and want to remember it for next time. And maybe you learned something during this trip that you want to remember for years to come. This is the time to make a list so you can refer back to it next year.Probably the best thing you can do is to save money. Start on December 1st to start a savings account or even just get a jar, small piggy bank or an envelope shoved under your mattress. Stash away about $10 per paycheck. If you get paid twice a month, that’s roughly $260 for next years’ shopping trip! Wouldn’t it be nice to have that extra money?By planning ahead for next years’ shopping, you can be better prepared for the sales both mentally and financially. You’ll rest easier on the eve of Black Friday by knowing that you have everything under control. This will make your next Black Friday even better than this year!
